Check It Out Sometimes we get so excited about something new that we just have to tell everyone listening, “Hey you have got to Check It Out! Sometimes everyone on the show talks about the same thing and sometimes everyone brings their own Check It Out – either way its worth listening too. |
Frenemy All hosts are asked to pick one “Frenemy” (friend/enemy). A Frenemy is something that you like and don’t like at the same time. The pick will relate to the main topic or be anything the host chooses. All show hosts will be asked what their “Frenemy” pick is and why. Examples: |
FPM Play Trivia This is our most popular segment by far! Hosts are challenged with three trivia questions that relate to the main review topic or about general pop culture. Host will answer questions either as a team or individually. If you have a trivia questions that will stump our hosts and listeners send them to us! |
Grudge Match Grudge Match pits two topics or things that are similar against each other to determine which one our show panel likes better. Each Grudge Match consists of three rounds with a different point being discussed each round. Each round every show host will be asked who they think wins that round and why. After three rounds we declare a winner! |
Heroes & Villains Each host will be given a topic that relates to the main topic or is recent news. The host must determine if its a “Hero” (positive/thumbs up) or a “Villain” (negative/thumbs down) and give a brief reason why. The segment is supposed to be quick and rapid fire with no knowledge of the topics ahead of time. At the end of the segment we will determine if the heroes or villains came out on top. |
Pop Culture Math Nothing is new under the sun. Have you ever heard someone describe a movie by saying, “It’s like Ghostbusters but underwater” or something crazy like that? Well Pop Culture Math is a trivia segment were the hosts will be presented with a math equations that will test all of their math skills and pop culture knowledge. Clues may be given. Example: Voltron + Ninjas = ? (Power Rangers is correct) |
Interview of the Week We know how much you love hearing us talk and how interesting we are (you’re welcome) but it’s also fun to mix it up with some interviews. We try to get people that are interesting to us and to you guys. If you have an idea for an interview the shoot as message and we will get them on the show. |
Review of the Week The main topic on most episodes is our Review of the Week. We review books, movies (a lot), TV shows, video games and other stuff. After we break it down, sometimes with SPOILERS, we give our rating on a 5 point scale with an FPM Play twist! |
